Army National Guardsman, Chief Warrant Officer 2, from Utah National Guard (left), along with Montana National Guardsmen Staff Sgt. Benjamin Parriman (center) and Senior Master Sgt. Brian Furr discuss the concrete pour for a bridge on Colorado State Route 36. The diverted river and debris from the recent flood in the background give an indication of the intensity of the floods just a few weeks prior. National guard units from Colorado, Utah, Kansas and Montana participate in reconstruction the Colorado State Route 36 after recent floods devastate the area. Army and Air National Guard units provide civil engineer and Red Horse units to repair the roads and provide a 24-foot wide passable road before Dec. 1, 2013. Currently they are ahead of schedule.
