Brig. Gen. Lori Reynolds, commanding general of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., and the Eastern Recruiting Region, speaks with the Marines of the Battle Color Detachment after their performance March 19, 2014. Reynolds thanked the Marines for an outstanding and entertaining performance and for boosting the morale of Marines and recruits alike. The Battle Color Detachment consists of the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, the Silent Drill Platoon and the Marine Corps Color Guard and is based at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C.
