Lance Cpl. Christopher Pokorny, an infantryman with the Silent Drill Platoon, returns his bayonet to its sheath after a performance March 19, 2014, on Parris Island, S.C. The platoon, assigned to the Battle Color Detachment based at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., executed nearly 15 minutes of unique drill movements without verbal commands in front of recruits, Marines and civilians.
