A resident of Sadr City offers an Iraqi army soldier a drink of water during an Iraqi army-led patrol in the Sadr City District of Baghdad Oct. 3, 2008. The Iraqi-led patrol knocked on residents' doors, passed out flyers and asked if residents had any information regarding recent criminal activity. The flyers offered rewards for information on illegal weapons, bombs and criminals. Other flyers spoke of recent governmental efforts to improve Sadr City and the lives of its residents.
