(Left to Right) Cpt. Samane Sihabout, of Elgin, Ill., Master Sgt. Michael Hill, of Peoria, Ill., and Sgt. Ty Rathbun, of Peru, Ill., help four other 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Soldiers tow a "wounded" Soldier away from battle during a base defense exercise. The exercise, held at Forward Operating Base Patriot on Fort Bragg, N.C., tested Soldiers' responses to real-life situations they will encounter overseas. The Illinois brigade will deploy to Afghanistan later this year.
