33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Soldiers pull Pfc. Anthony Arnold, of Springfield, Ill., away from battle during a base defense exercise. Arnold became a mock casualty after the entry control point took fire as part of the exercise. This exercise is one of many tasks these Illinois brigade Soldiers must complete at Forward Operating Base Patriot on Fort Bragg, NC before they ship to Afghanistan later this year.
