Iraqi Doctors Study American Aeromedical Evacuation Program

Master Sgt. Scott Wilkes demonstrates a Propaq system to Iraqi air force Capt. (Dr.) Mohammed and Iraqi air force Maj. (Dr.) Abdul-Razaq during an aeromedical evacuation mission over Iraq, Nov. 7, 2008. The device measures a patient's blood pressure, oxygen levels, heart rate, ECG and body temperature. The two Iraqi doctors from Iraq's Ministry of Defense accompanied the U.S. Air Force mission to study aeromedical evacuation procedures so that they can establish an aeromedical evacuation service for the Iraqi air force. Wilkes, a charge medical technician assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Flight, is deployed from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.
