Iraqi Doctors Study American Aeromedical Evacuation Program

Senior Airman Chris Ward calculates the weight and balance of cargo load for a C-130 Hercules during an aeromedical evacuation mission in Southwest Asia, Nov. 7, 2008. Two Iraqi doctors from Iraq's Ministry of Defense accompanied the U.S. Air Force mission to study aeromedical evacuation procedures so that they can establish an aeromedical evacuation service for the Iraqi air force. Ward, a loadmaster with the 777th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, is deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
