Master Sgt. Scott Wilkes monitors patients during an aeromedical evacuation mission in the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility, Nov. 7, 2008. Two Iraqi doctors from Iraq's Ministry of Defense accompanied the U.S. Air Force mission to study aeromedical evacuation procedures so that they can establish an aeromedical evacuation service for the Iraqi air force. Wilkes, a charge medical technician with the 332nd Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Flight, is deployed from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.
