Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (FMF) Watson Lindor of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (SW) Devan Ebanks of Los Angeles conduct a lumbar spine series of X-rays on a man recently brought aboard from a treatment facility in Haiti. The man was transported to the hospital ship, which is in Haiti supporting Operation Unified Response, after the man complained of back pain resulting from an injury suffered in last month's devastating earthquake. Comfort's medical staff has seen 958 patients since arriving on station to assist USAID efforts to help the local government rebuild the Caribbean nation's local infrastructure and move toward recovery from the natural disaster.
