Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (SW) Devan Ebanks of Los Angeles aligns one of four fixed X-rays aboard USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) for a lumbar spine series on a man recently brought from Haiti for treatment. The man is one of hundreds of thousands of victims in Haiti injured in the earthquake that struck the Caribbean nation last month. Comfort medical care providers treated some of the more severe cases resulting from the natural disaster in support of USAID efforts to assist the government of Haiti in providing medical care, food and water.
