Paratroopers with the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, provide the color guard for a June 7 ceremony in Angoville-au-Plain, France. The ceremony was held in honor of the life saving heroics displayed by 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment medics Robert Wright Sr. and Kenneth Moore from June 6-8, 1944 when they turned the village church into a temporary aid station, providing care to 80 American and German soldiers and one local child. Pictured in the background are members of the German Luftwaffe, who also provided ceremonial support.
