A stained glass window in the Angoville-au-Plain, France church, given to the village by an anonymous donor, honors the heroic deeds of 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment medics Robert Wright Sr. and Kenneth Moore. Wright Sr. and Moore conducted first aid operations in the church from June 6-8, 1944, providing aid to some 80 American and German soldiers, as well as a young boy, while managing to keep the church off limits to direct military action.
