KMEP is a series of regularly scheduled bilateral training exercises used to enhance interoperability and increase familiarization with the Korean Peninsula. Rose is a Germantown, Tennessee, native and executive officer for Company B, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion currently assigned to Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program. Gray is an Essex Junction, Vermont, native and company commander for Co. B, 3rd LAR Bn. Kim is the company commander for 7th Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 1st ROK Marine Division.
