An MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter from the Battle Cats of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 73 drops cargo off on the forecastle of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) during a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo/ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11). Dewey is on deployment with the Carl Vinson Strike Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations supporting Valiant Shield. Valiant Shield is a U.S.–only biennial exercise in which participation will focus on the integration of joint training among U.S. forces.
