U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Nam Deo, engineer specialist, Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 372, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), trowels spall to ensure flatness during an airfield damage repair practical application (ADR PracApp), at Canon Air Defense Complex (P111), near Yuma, Ariz., Sept. 20, 2014. The ADR PracApp is part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Course 1-15, a seven-week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) cadre. MAWTS-1 provides standardized tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine Aviation Training and Readiness and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
