Kilcline Jr, his sister Mrs. Mary Kilcline Novak and Michael McLeod, builder of the model, display the aircraft during the induction ceremony of the RA-5C Vigilante aircraft model into the Cold War Gallery of the National Museum of the U.S. Navy held at the Washington Navy Yard. Kilcline Jr's father, then-Cmdr. Thomas J. Kilcline Sr. was a pilot of the aircraft and commanding officer of RVAH-11, then-Lt. Cmdr.
