Tom Hyden, a Fairfax County, Virginia, native and veteran of Company C, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment reads about the history he and his unit helped make during his visit to the 1st Cavalry Division Museum Oct. 3 at Fort Hood, Texas. Hyden served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 during the Tet Offensive and took part in operations in Khe Sahn. Hyden toured the museum as part of Company C’s 1965-1972 Vietnam Veteran Reunion, which took place from Oct. 2 to 5 hosted by the 2-5 Cav., 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
