Lt. Col. Carter Price, commander of the 2nd Battalion “Lancer,” 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, salutes a memorial during a memorial ceremony Oct. 3 at Fort Hood, Texas. The memorial honored the Soldiers of Company C, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, who fell while fighting in Vietnam, as part of 1965-1972 Vietnam Veteran Reunion, which took place from Oct. 2 to 5 and was hosted by the 2-5 Cav., 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
