Lt. Col. Joanne Macgregor, 2nd Battalion 149th General Support Aviation Battalion commander from Peoria, Ill., received a Bronze Star at an award ceremony on Joint Base Balad, Iraq, on May 5. Awards were given by Col. Clay Brock, Task Force 34 Commander. The Bronze Star is given to individuals who display bravery, acts of merit, or meritorious service.
