150328-N-OV358-196 ARABIAN GULF (March 28, 2015) - Leading Airman Aircraft Handler Scott Wiltshire, assigned to the British Military Aviation Support Force (MASF), uses signal wands to guide a Lynx Mark 8 helicopter, assigned to the Type 45 Destroyer HMS Dauntless, as it lifts off the flight deck of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship Cardigan Bay (L3009). Cardigan Bay and Dauntless are currently participating in the 2015 mine countermeasure (MCM) exercise Artemis Trident. Artemis Trident is a full spectrum defensive MCM exercise for the combined U.S., U.K. and French MCM Task Force and serves as an air, surface and underwater MCM theater event to strengthen coalition MCM capability.
