U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Ronrico Calhoun, a squad leader for O Troop, 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, tries to locate the Romanian opposing forces during a training mission at the Babadag Training Area in eastern Romania, Sept. 25. Soon thereafter, Calhoun and his fellow infantrymen's Stryker received simulated mortar fire and they had to dismount and run for cover. "It's always cool to work with another nation's army and to see how they train," said Spc. James R. Blankenship, 26, an infantryman for O Troop, 4/2 SCR. The interoperability training done at Joint Task Force-East helps increase regional security cooperation and develops personal and professional relationships.
