Romanian Land Forces 1st Lt. Ovidiu Baragan, 26, 2nd platoon leader for the 33rd Posada Mountain Battalion based in Curtea de Arges, Romania, orders Soldiers of both the 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment based in Vilseck, Germany, and the 33rd Posada Mountain Battalion to form a line of attack towards the opposing forces using hand and arm signals at the Babadag Training Area in eastern Romania, Sept. 26. Different forms of radio communication between Romanian and American troops forced Soldiers to think on their feet and feed off of each others' infantry instincts during the many exercises at BTA as part of the interoperability training during Joint Task Force-East's third annual exercise.
