151015-N-XO016-156:POLARIS POINT, Guam (Oct. 15, 2015) Damage Controlman 1st Class Nathan Laygo, center, a Sailor assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), provides guidance on the proper wearing of a self-contained breathing apparatus during fire fighting dress out drill training onboard, Oct. 15. This was just one part of an overall drill scenario that trained Frank Cable Sailors and civilian mariners in pipe patching, medical response, hose handling and fire fighting dress out drills. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
