Third Army Soldier Sgt. Puleaga Iaulualo-Mataafa, 61st Chemical Company, American Samoa, walks through the Archway of Responsibility, which symbolizes the transformation of a lower enlisted Soldier to a leader, during a Non Commissioned Officer Induction Ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Dec. 11. The ceremony recognized Iaulualo-Mataafa as a member of a time honored corps known as 'The Backbone of the Army.' Iauluao-Mataafa is currently serving Third Army, whose primary mission involves the buildup of troops and equipment in Afghanistan.
