Third Army Soldier Sgt. Emanuel Yanez, of the 61st Chemical Company attached to Third Army, from Los Angeles, walks through the Archway of Responsibility, which symbolizes the transformation of a lower enlisted Soldier to a leader, during a Non Commissioned Officer Induction Ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Dec. 11. The ceremony recognized Yanez as a member of a time honored corps known as 'The Backbone of the Army.' Yanez is currently serving Third Army, whose primary mission involves the buildup of troops and equipment in Afghanistan.
