A drill instructor from Instructional Training Company, Recruit Training Regiment, teaches recruits different bayonet techniques during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 10. Being able to properly execute each technique is crucial, especially when they take the MCMAP test later on in training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Alpha Company is scheduled to graduate April 22.
