(Feb. 18, 2016) International students train as part of the Diesel Systems Overhaul and Maintenance (DSOM) course at Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS). The course provides students the training necessary to maintain, repair and extend the service lifecycle of diesel engines. Relevant training includes detailed instruction for diesel systems applicable to small craft, vehicles, generators and other diesel driven equipment. NAVSCIATTS is U.S. Special Operations Command’s International Center specializing in mobile and in-resident training across the tactical, operational and strategic spectra strengthening partner nation capabilities and capacity.
