160601-N-NF288-124 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 1, 2016) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman (SW) Steven Wright, from Newark, New Jersey, sends a line back to fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) during a replenishment at sea aboard the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The line was used to bring a span wire to Ronald Reagan, which is a line that brings the probes that deliver the fuel to the ship. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
