160704-N-IN729-098 SOUTH CHINA SEA (July 4, 2016) Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Jessica Robinson, from Baltimore, blends chalk and crayon during a painting event aboard the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) on Independence Day. “Coloring, or really anything creative, is therapeutic,” said Robinson. “Simply look around and see the concentration on everyone’s face and how they get lost in color. Bob Ross was one of a kind in his happy state of mind, and I wanted to come down and see everyone else paint and see the things they come up with.” Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
