MOTUTAPU ISLAND, Tonga — A U.S. Marine and Tongan soldier sprint toward the objective, exploiting high explosives used to clear an obstacle during a live-fire range, July 27, 2016, on Motutapu Island, Tonga, as part of a multi-national, bilateral exercise designed to increase interoperability and relations. The service members combined and applied skills practiced during the exercise in a culminating range such as buddy rushing, demolition, high explosive exploitation and buddy rushing.
