    160924-N-YL257-072 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 24, 2016) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Equipment) Airman Matthew Lyss plays taps during a burial at sea for retired Senior Chief Irvin Hornkohl aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). Hornkohl, a U.S. Navy veteran of 30 years, served during World War II during the attack on Pearl Harbor, and completed two tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. Hornkohl passed away June 26, 2016 and was laid to rest at sea Sept. 24, 2016. GHWB is currently conducting Tailored Ship's Training Availability and Final Evaluation Problem (TSTA/FEP).
