    160924-N-AF077-106 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 24, 2016) Chief Air Traffic Controller Hector Montalvo and Chief Culinary Specialist Richie Aquisap commit the cremains of retired Senior Chief Irvin Hornkohl to the sea during a burial at sea aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). Hornkohl, a U.S. Navy veteran of 30 years, served during World War II during the attack on Pearl Harbor, and completed two tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. Hornkohl passed away June 26, 2016 and was laid to rest at sea Sept. 24, 2016. GHWB is currently conducting Tailored Ship's Training Availability and Final Evaluation Problem (TSTA/FEP).
