NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. – (Oct. 5, 2016) Seaman Kassandra Verhaag, of Springdale, Wash., stands watch with a .50-caliber machine gun as USS Nimitz (CVN 68) departs Puget Sound Naval Shipyard to conduct sea trials as part of the completion of a 20-month extended planned incremental availability.
