Cpl. Christopher Garcia, assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, stages Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief supplies aboard amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5). Peleliu is sending an initial supply of 80 pallets of HADR to Sharea Faisal Air Base for further distribution to the flood regions. Peleliu is the command ship of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The ship is supporting the Pakistani government and military disaster relief operations in Pakistan.
