Marines assigned to Combat Cargo aboard amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) prepare Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief supplies to be loaded on an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter. Peleliu is sending an initial supply of 80 pallets of HADR to Sharea Faisal Air Base for further distribution to the flood regions. Peleliu is the command ship of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The ship is supporting the Pakistani government and military disaster relief operations in Pakistan.
