Marines assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit prepare to board an MH-60S Seahawk assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 “Wild Cards,” aboard amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5). Peleliu is the command ship of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The ship is supporting the Pakistani government and military disaster relief operations in Pakistan.
