Brothers Sgt. First Class Larry Scott and Sgt. First Class Dennis Scott, both of Pinson, Alabama, are serving together as members of F. Co., 131st Aviation. Dennis Scott is the non-commissioned officer in charge (NCOIC) of headquarters platoon and Larry, who also saw action in Vietnam, is the NCOIC of maintenance platoon. The 131st is operating 24 hours repairing, maintaining and flying 14 Chinook helicopters located at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. The Chinooks are heavily depended upon to carry supplies and troops to the forward operating bases for Operation Enduring Freedom.
