Staff Sgt. Glenn Stewart, University Place, Washington, stands near one of 14 Chinooks he helps repair and maintain at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. Stewart, a technical inspector, is deployed with F Co., 131st Aviation, an Army National Guard unit whose members come from Georgia, Alabama and Washington. The 131st is responsible for repairing, maintaining and flying the Chinooks which are used to move troops and supplies to forward operating bases. The 131st has been deployed since March, 2004, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
