    170225-N-CG677-026 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 25, 2017) An E-2C Hawkeye from the Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 113 “Black Eagles” flies over the South China Sea near the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of U.S. 3rd Fleet.
