Gunnery Sgt. Todd Groves is a maintenance chief with Small Craft Repair Platoon, Expeditionary Operations Training Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. For the last two years, he has volunteered approximately 1,000 hours to helping Bokusei Kinjo, an Okinawan citizen who owns a farmer’s market near Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. Groves, from Fulton, Missouri, was a pig farmer growing up and has now found a place in Okinawa he can call home. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Bernadette Wildes)
