MAYPORT, Fla. (March 15, 2017) – Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Jason Turgeon, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), demonstrates the proper application of a tourniquet to a student during the Mayport Middle School Career Fair. Iwo Jima recently returned from conducting a series of qualifications and certifications as part of the basic phase of training in preparation for future operations and deployments.
