PACIFIC OCEAN, Calif., – Marines with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit load into a CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced)to be transported to the USS America (LHA-6), April 10, 2017. The 15th MEU uses the air assets provided from VMM-161 to transport personnel and equipment ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore efficiently.
