An aviation boatswains mate (Handling), or ABH, directs an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the Blue Diamonds of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 146 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). ABH's are responsible for the safe movement of aircraft on the flight deck and in the ship’s hangar bays.
