An EA-6B Prowler assigned to the Cougars of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron (VAQ) 139 launches off a waist catapult of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan's steam-powered catapults launch Prowlers off the flight deck in less than two seconds, with the Prowlers reaching speeds of more than 150 miles per hour before launch.
