    USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76)

Petty Officer 2nd Class Tomas Rosales, a boatswain’s mate, (left), of Chowchilla, Calif., attaches cables to a receiving station in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during an opposed replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202). Ships conduct an opposed RAS to practice completing replenishments at sea in a wartime scenario with other ships in the same carrier strike group providing perimeter protection. Ronald Reagan and Yukon performed the opposed RAS as part of a Composite Training Unit Exercise. Ronald Reagan is currently underway in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
