    USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76)

Petty Officer 3rd Class Jordan Springer, a boatswain’s mate of Holland, Texas, signals the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202) to stop movement on a receiving station aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during an opposed replenishment at sea. Ships conduct an opposed RAS to practice completing replenishments at sea in a wartime scenario with other ships in the same carrier strike group providing perimeter protection. Ronald Reagan and Yukon performed the opposed RAS as part of a Composite Training Unit Exercise. Ronald Reagan is currently underway in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
