Seaman Justin R. Salazar, a boatswain’s mate from Bakersfield, Calif., reattaches the fueling line aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during an opposed replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202). Ships conduct an opposed RAS to practice completing replenishments at sea in a wartime scenario with other ships in the same carrier strike group providing perimeter protection. Ronald Reagan and Yukon performed the opposed RAS as part of a Composite Training Unit Exercise. Ronald Reagan is currently underway preparing for an upcoming deployment. (Photo by: Seaman Mikesa R.
