U.S. Navy Reserve Petty Officer 1st Class Steven Vasquez, of Fort Lewis, Wash., builder, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 18, hammers a nail into a 2 inch by 4 inch beam on a perimeter guard tower at the Russian Silo Combat Outpost, Afghanistan. The COP is the future site of a 10 mega watt power plant intended to power the western side of Kandahar, Afghanistan. Vasquez is deployed to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan.
