170801-N-NP779-012 WESTPORT, Wash.- (Aug. 1, 2017) A CH-47F from the Washington Army National Guard prepares for a landing outside the United States Coast Guard Station, Gray’s Harbor, during a Defense Support of Civil Authority (DSCA) demonstration. The DSCA exercise is a joint effort between local emergency responders, the National Guard and the U.S. Navy, is held in conjunction with Seattle Seafair Fleet Week and is designed to simulate domestic response efforts, across all levels of government, to a catastrophic disaster.
